John Goodleaf, a winter 2009 graduate of Rider College in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, who received his diploma at Rider's recent 145th commencement . John was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.


High praise department...


For Islander Bruce Wolosoff's solo piano concert at Guild Hall earlier this month. Thomas Bohlert, reviewing the concert for the East Hampton Star, had this to say: “Bruce Wolosoff integrates romantic, classical, jazz and blues music together into an authentic American voice, and he is a composer I want to hear more of.” In describing the various pieces, Mr. Bohlert referred to the “abounding lyricism,” “wonderfully delicate moments,” “beautiful melody” and “an enchanted audience … won over.”
