OSPREY'S NEST
Watch for it!
by Ima Byrd
A recent Sperry Topsider commercial features a scene familiar to most Islanders: Donna Bergin in her Doughdish. The ad was filmed on May 27 by Henry Joost, a filmmaker whose family has a house on the Island. It’s been airing on a few Long Island channels and nationally on Plum TV. In the 60-second spot, she accompanies two characters, a grandfather and grandson, all three decked out in khakis and Topsider shoes as they tack her boat back and forth near the Greenport jetty. Donna said it was a fun and interesting experience. Sounds like it!
